# Amity Social - insert historical posts via API

We have approximately 12 months of historical posts that we need to cater for. Is it possible to add posts via the API to amity social and back-date those posts so they show in the correct order?

For example, we can back-date a post with timestamp of 1st Jan 2020, as if it were posted on this date.

Hi @justinb - we currently do not support backdating of post / comment creation
