Maximum number of allowed tags

We are looking to use the tags feature to tag posts (example from the “Create Post” section of the docs here).

The documentation states that only five tags are allowed for any post, and that the character limit is 24 characters for any particular tag.

However, we are wondering if there is any limit to the number of tags we can create across the entire system? Is it limited to an arbitrary number (i.e. 1000), or are we free to create an unlimited number of tags?

Hello @jcswb1916 , There is no system-wide limit to the number of tags you can create—tag creation is effectively unlimited. However, as outlined in the documentation, each post can have a maximum of five (5) tags assigned at any given time.
